Colt 45 1911
I want to make something happen. I always try to be fair in my dealing. I understand FN is no longer going to import the Hi Power; take that for what it’s worth in the effect on values.
Well I think I lost it. I offered to buy a colt 1911 part sight unseen the other day. The price seemed right so what the hell. Well the gentleman showed up with it and I bought it. I have to say I’m not a fan of nickle plating but it’s growing on me.
I can’t figure out the barrel set up. The barrel sticks out the front a half inch? It looks like a bull barrel with no p85 ruger. The guide rod is a full length one in blued.

Various ReticlesTelescopic Rifle scopes come with a variety of different reticles, ranging from the traditional crosshairs to complex reticles designed to allow the shooter to estimate accurately the range to a target, to compensate for the bullet drop, and to compensate for the windage required due to crosswinds. Perhaps most flexible is the “mil-dot” reticle, which consists of duplex crosshairs with small dots at milliradian intervals in the field of view. (A milli-radian equates to 3.43775 MOA, that is, approximately 21.6 inches at 600 yards; each MOA equates to 1.0472 inch at 100 yards, often rounded to 1 inch at 100 yards for fast mental calculations.) A trained user can estimate the range to objects of known size, the size of objects at known distances, and even compensate for both bullet drop and wind drifts at known ranges with a reticle-equipped scope.

When the Kansas Legislature passed a concealed carry laws in 2007, it included 21 kinds of places where a carrying hidden gun would not be permitted. That wasn t quite enough for Emporia, which added two more: the Lyon County Fairgrounds and William Lindsay White Auditorium. Now those two may soon be struck down. On Thursday, the Kansas Senate took up House Bill 2528, which would keep cities from adding gun-free areas that aren t already covered by state law. The House passed the bill Wednesday by a vote of 107 to 17.

Law-abiding Nevadans who go to the trouble and expense of submitting their fingerprints, posing for a police mug shot, undergoing a thorough background check and demonstrating that they can handle a handgun safely and effectively can obtain a state carry permit.
